School Sisters of Notre Dame

Taking action, inviting participation

How to Become Involved

There are a variety of ways to become involved with the School Sisters of Notre Dame. We invite collaboration with people from all walks of life, both religious and non-religious.

For those interested in deepening their spiritual life, there are two avenues to explore. Young women discerning a desire to live religious life as a School Sister of Notre Dame can interact with our sisters and explore vowed SSND life. Becoming an Associate is an opportunity for both men and women to live the spirit and mission of SSND outside of vowed religious life.

In our ministries beyond the Provincial House, our sisters welcome everyone to help further the SSND mission. And here at "The Hill," there’s always something going on: daily Mass, concerts, gardening, seminars, Good Counsel Alumnae events, volunteer opportunities, to name a few. Please visit us and enjoy the beauty of our historic surroundings.
