The gradual process of becoming a School Sister of Notre Dame is rooted in discernment—decision-making in a Christian context. This means listening to God through prayer and the daily events of your life.

The sisters who are part of the Mankato Province of the School Sisters of Notre Dame are a diverse group of women. We have a multitude of talents, gifts, and interests. While each of us is very different, we are also shaped by our common call to live as vowed members of the School Sisters of Notre Dame.

If you are interested in learning more about us, please

contact Sister Mary Jo, Vocation Director, and she can help answer your questions.
