It is often asked, "Just what is Spiritual Direction/Companionship"? Spiritual Direction is an on-going relationship with a spiritual director and another person seeking self-knowledge and an understanding of what The Spirit invites that person to do with his/her life. The time together is a sacred time in which to pause and reflect on everyday life experiences in relation to self, others, and the Divine Mystery. This process is for anyone desiring to deepen their meaning and purpose in life. Mary Kay and Mary Jo are certified spiritual directors with many years of experience in the USA and in Africa. Both are teachers of the Enneagram and the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator. Each brings experience in facilitating both lay groups and religious congregations.

Are you looking for the “pause that refreshes”? Why not treat yourself to a day or
days away?
- Come for a quiet day(s). We can offer you a room for yourself, good meals and a spacious campus on which you will find gardens, a gazebo and a comfortable walking path. You may even see the deer, wild turkeys or guinea hens! The chapel is available for your use. Should you desire a spiritual director or just some hints for the day someone will be available.
- Schedule a directed retreat. Shorter retreats can be arranged according to your availability. Wondering about this type of retreat? During a directed retreat the retreatant meets daily or at least every few days with the retreat director who offers a listening heart and through active listening helps the retreatant hear how God is moving in his/her life. The director offers suggestions for prayer, reflection and creative expression. Directed retreats are ordinarily silent times and may be of any duration from one day to 30 days.

Summer is a good time to experience a labyrinthine walk. Our labyrinth is located indoors in a cool spacious room. Just call to inquire about this opportunity. You don’t know about the labyrinth? We can help you understand the purpose and benefit of walking the labyrinth.
Perhaps you would appreciate Sunday services in a different setting. Each Sunday the Eucharistic Liturgy in the Catholic tradition is celebrated at 11:00 a.m. You are always welcome.

Monthly Simplicity Circle
The Green Book Club was so inspired that the group decided one night with the book Less Is More just wasn't enough. We've decided to organize a monthly "simplicity circle" allowing for more in depth discussion and monthly goals with group support! If you haven't read the book yet or are reading it, you can still get in on this opportunity. The group is open to anyone interested in the topic of simplicity in their lives – meaning less stuff, less stress, less clutter, less rushing but more time, more community, more fulfillment, more joy. We will discuss one or two articles from the book and move from there with goals and action plans to bring our lives more in balance. Please RSVP to participate so that we might plan space accordingly.
